Efficient Delivery and Immediate Uptake

Ultra fine and highly reactive, Calcium 96 is a natural limestone powder that provides immediate availability of this valuable nutrient for plants and microflora. With a high neutralizing value, this solution grade powder can be applied at rates lower than typical Ag lime for fast soil pH changes. High quality calcium provides a myriad of benefits to plants, soils and soil biology. Designed for efficient delivery and immediate uptake, this 325 mesh powder can be used in drip irrigation or spray applications.

2 cups ≈ 1 lb; 1 Tbsp ≈ 12 g; 1 tsp ≈ 4 g

Most garden plants prefer a pH between 6.0 and 7.0, and proper application rates vary depending on soil-type. Performing a complete soil analysis before application is recommended. If you do not know your soil pH or soil type, use the recommended application rates below.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Make a concentrated solution by mixing the total weight of recommended Down To Earth Solution Grade Calcium 96 with water (do not exceed rate of 8 lbs per gallon). Mix this concentrated solution into the total volume of water necessary for coverage. Continued agitation is recommended to keep diluted solution in suspension. Most effective when applied to pre-wetted soils. Additional calcium may be required to overcome the acidifying effects of nitrogen fertilizers and/or to account for crop-specific calcium needs.

FOR pH ADJUSTMENT
To raise pH by 0.1: Use 10 g (2½ tsp) per 10 square feet OR use 2 g (½ tsp) per 10 gallons of soil in containers. Apply as a diluted solution around base of plants. Repeat as needed, up to 10 times throughout the growing season.

TO SUPPLY CALCIUM
Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds: Use 4 g (1 tsp) per 10 square feet. Apply as a diluted solution around base of plants. Repeat as needed, up to 10 times throughout the growing season.

Containers: Use 2 g (½ tsp) per 10 gallons of soil. Apply as a diluted solution around base of plants. Repeat, as needed, up to 10 times throughout the growing season.
