Hawaiian Blend Granular Root Zone is a powerful blend of beneficial soil organisms formulated specially for Hawaiian soils. These organisms colonize plant roots and expand into the surrounding soil to greatly increase the absorptive surface area of root systems. Our professional grade, ultra-concentrated formula of endomycorrhizal fungi and beneficial bacteria species work symbiotically to improve nutrient uptake and to improve plants’ access to soil moisture. Hawaiian Blend Granular Root Zone is ideal for establishing biological diversity in garden soils, potting mixes and soilless media.

DTE™ Hawaiian Blend Granular Root Zone can be applied directly under seeds, cuttings and transplants or blended into garden soils and potting media. The objective is to ensure physical contact between the roots and the inoculant.

Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds:
Apply ½ lb per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of garden soil. When seeding, apply ½ teaspoon per row foot in furrow. For transplants, apply 1/8 teaspoon directly onto and under transplant roots.
Trees, Shrubs & Vines:
Apply 1-2 tablespoons per 1” of stem caliper directly to plant roots or mixed into soil in prepared transplant hole.
Containers & Houseplants:
For new plantings, mix 2 tablespoons per cubic foot of potting soil OR add 1 teaspoon per gallon of potting media and mix thoroughly before planting. See product web page for additional large volume mix rates.
